I have a PSL in great condition for sale in Sierra Madre CA. I purchased it about a month ago for $1300 and have only put 45 rounds down range with the rifle. Due to unfortunate financial circumstances I have to sell rifle, not thrilled. This is an amazing battle rifle that is often referred to as a sniper rifle; while it is ACCURATE contrary to popular belief, it is NOT as accurate as a 2 man team sniper rifle such as the M24 system. This is a sharp shooters rifle used at a squad based level to extend the range of the troops engageable targets. It has an original Romanian scope with a built in range finder to a thousand yards. Like I said before this is NOT a persision sniper rifle but an Accurate sharpshooters rifle ment to put a lot of lead down on a target at long range. And that it does....it chambers 10 rounds of 7.62x54r (which is comparable to 30-06) and puts them down range quickly with surprisingly little recoil. I have a Mosin and the recoil is probably half of that or less. To make it CA legal it has a "bullet button" which is very easy to operate to remove the magazine. It also comes with a pouch that holds 4 magazines and the original cleaning equipment it came with. I am asking $950 + shipping for this beautiful rifle. Please let me know if you have any questions.
