Think of it as a big lesson learned. If you would of looked at Nestor's short post history, you would of known Nestor is a illegal piece of ****lien from the first thread/post he made.

Definitely a big lesson learned. I will for sure do my homework on people in the future. If anything i feel fortunate he only got me for $165 as hes scammed several people for a whole lot more. Ive tried to get in touch with the mods about him but haven't heard anything. Any mods in particular i should contact?

It's obvious he is a scammer, and even banned on akforums for being a scammer.

I already reported him to the mods, but looks like no action is being taken. (There is like a report button on the post options.)

Not much we can do at this point.

User pancho5martinez tried to solicit me to sell my AK type rifle to him in a parking lot, and to commit fraud by telling my insurance company that I lost it. I have screenshots. THEN, he stole my pictures and tried to scam other users out of $1000-$1200 and falsely sell MY rifle to other users! They showed me screenshots! He is an illegal, dangerous scammer!

I just received pm's from two possible scammers replying to a WTB post I made in C&R; Danielbrittain620 and lordelarde: I reported both using the red triangle. Because I searched the list above in longuns and the one in handguns, I have a suggestion for this list and the one in the handguns forum that the "Beware" lists be combined and placed in the first forum section titled "Calguns.net".

I just believe it would be nice to have one location to look for possible scammers.

This person replied back to a posting of mine WTB. And wanted me to reach out to him in text. He then told me to paypal him the money and he would ship me the gun. After playing along for a while I offered to mail him a check if he gave me his contact information. This shut him up. lol

Always ask for photo proof they have the item and can also put a random object or paper with the date written (not typed) in the photo. Watch out for poorly doctored photos. If you're easily fooled by photoshopped images then maybe this isn't the game for you. Watch for poor grammar and weird vernacular like constantly calling you 'sir'. Finally if you think its a scammer you can use grabify to get their location and IP its usually overseas.

I am looking getting help with actually being able to make lower workable. Ii would also ask if anyone knows how I go about registering it with The DOJ. Any help would be appreciated.
