[b]Other info: Colt Diamondback in .22 long rifle will be great to collect or shoot and will certainly go up in value. According to the Colt website it was made in 1969; revolver retains 98%+ of its finish--this is a beauty. There is no wear of the frame other than light finish wear on the muzzle probably from taking the gun in and out of the box over the years. Screw slots are sharp without tool marks. The most visible wear is on the extractor rod and that likely came from the factory this way. The action functions correctly with the cylinder locking up precisely on each chamber when the trigger is depressed. Double action trigger is smooth, the single action is similar to a target pistol breaking like glass. The reolver includes a Colt factory cardboard box, styrofoam tray, a manual, and a cool historical list of authorized Colt repair stations. The Diamond back was purchased long ago and it's been shot twice in a decade. Give this gun a light cleaning and take it out to enjoy!
