The link above is the exact model that I have for sale. I do have to apologize for not having photos of it. My pistol is in the shop now and ready for consignment in few days if no one picks it up here. it is in absolutely sparking new condition, so feel free to use the one from the Colt website for references. Colt's 70s Series came with the best trigger that Colt offers, I personally like it way over the 80s and later series.

Reason for selling this collection piece: The same reason as I recently sold my brand new HK MR762. My old furnace has eventually decided to resign after his 30 years of service. The total charge for replacing a new furnace plus modifications and labor is over 8 - 9K. That leaves me with no choice but to let go of a few of my collections.

As SIG fans we all know our love SIG Germany had bankrupt, sadly all the SIG Germany pistols became collections pieces, this one is no exception. Germany made frame show ZERO TO NONE WEARS, EVEN the MAGWELL show almost NO WEARS.

Besides the high collectability, this one has great potential to become a competition pistol. Some P226 pistol suffers some tolerance gap between the frame to slide. This one fits TIGHT, NO LIFT TO RIGHT AT ALL. You can only get this level of tight-fitting from high-end brands like Wilson combat.


As for aesthetics, The current production model P226 with a long extractor doesn't look good at all, more importantly sometimes the lone extractor fails to extract the shells which causes jams. Personally speaking, I am a big fan of SIG Original SHORT EXTRACTOR, which looks nice and works just right. that's why I really like the fact this one came with the traditional short extractor slide.

Besides, the Stainless slide offered by the two-tone model adds a little bit more rareness to your collections.
