Did the lower DROS as semi-automatic or single-shoot exemption (break-top)?

Single shot. Doesnt matter at all though cuz this time it will be DROS'd as a semiauto.

Not trying to slander/flame this post at all because I have 2 single shot myself (one was actually from VC Defense). I'm just genuinely curious how can you DROS it as semiauto after it's been initially registered under Single Shot Exemption?

I'm sure others lurking are curious as well.

                  Thanks

It's quite simple. The gun is NOW a semiauto and any transfer on It will reflect it as such. I work for VC and this is how it would be done. The original DROS saying single shot is irrelevant.

Here is an example, if you DROS a BCM rifle and then decide to sell your BCM lower to someone in a PPT, the FFL will DROS it as a receiver only. Not a rifle. They would not say well this was once a rifle we have to DROS it that way. (Yes I know it is still a long gun in CA but the DROS will reflect receiver only)

One more example...how many people on here have bought off roster handguns in a PPT? Guaranteed if you bought more than one, at least one started life as an SSE gun and was converted to semiauto upon delivery. The FFL did not take the now semiauto gun, and DROS it as a single shot during the PPT...

Valid question but believe me that is how it is done and it is 100% good to go.
