I had this exact gun also built by the same gunsmith. It had a remarkably subtle light blue cast to the finish. It was the finest/"prettiest" finish I have yet to see on a handgun. It was pure butter. Makes me wonder if it's the same pistol? Fantastic handgun regardless. GLWS.

EDIT....lol, I just checked your feedback. Thought it looked familiar. This 1911 is fantastic!!
