And he wont be able to sell it to anyone here after 12/20/2016 unless it is neutered beyond recognition and beyond usefulness. So raise the price OP, but while you're at it - make long term room in the safe for it just in case. Because you've only got six weeks to sell this to someone in CA who will have an opportunity to AW reg it and keep some semblance of what it is now, into the future, while bearing all the burden of owning an AW including extremely limited use and never being able to sell it here. I'm sure raising the price will help a bunch.
