If you love Colts, this is truly a collector and a great shooter. Clean, no idiot mark. Collet Bushing, flat mainspring housing. Reviewed by the late great Jerry Ahern in the 1983 edition of .45 Auto Handbook (included) as Colts answer to the requests for a .45 suited to combat shooting just out of the box.
Only about 2000 of them made. Last of the original MKIV 70 series I believe, to my knowledge, Colt transitioned to the 80 Series Special Combat .45 right after this.
