I have an old Aimpoint 5000xd that works most of the time, but every so often the red dot disappears. Wiggling on the rheostat usually gets it to reappear. This model has been discontinued by Aimpoint, so I doubt any repair service is available. Mounted on an Aimpoint Pro mount.
