I have an unmolested, original finish, "W" marked stock set for the US Model of 1917 rifle and am looking to trade it for a good condition "E" marked stock set. The stock has the normal dings that one would expect from a nearly 100 year old military rifle. There are no cracks, splits, major gouges or repairs. The stock is marked "6E" on the left side of the stock beneath the bolt stop and at some point in its history someone scribed their initials on the underside just forward of the trigger guard. The eagle head cartouche is still faintly visible aft of the trigger guard. Stock also includes the buttplate with a "W" marked trap.
I'm located in Orange (92867) but am willing to ship in order to get the correct stock for my old war horse.
