I have a colt national match from the 1950s. For some reason it hates these 1911 colt 10 rounders. I've used them a few times but very rarely. Most of the time i just kept them half filled with hollows. I got into steel shooting and found with chip mccormick mags, meg-gar, checkmate, wilson, and cobra mags i never have a feeding issue but I do with these colts. So i'm offering to trade both colts for 2 cmc mags, cobra, checkmate. Maybe your 1911 will love em but mine sure doesn't.
Also, if anyone has any information what i can do to my gun to increase its feeding reliability feel free to chime in. I think maybe if i polish my ramps i can get better feeding but i'm not sure which angles would help. Also my 1911 is so old that i notice just a bit of slide wobble. Still in acceptable ranges. Not loose by any means but is there a way to get my slide sent out and refinished.
I live in the bay area.
