I had this setup on my M&P for about 3 month... I shot with them a total of 3 times at the range. These sights are perfect for getting on target ultra fast... the .100 post with the U notch configuration looks mean as hell and is much faster than any other sight configuration I have ever used.
I personally shoot target much more than I shoot IDPA or USPSA Matches, which this set up is designed for. This is the only reason I am changing out these sights and given how my M&P was built, I am hesitant to do so because it was customized for those types of matches.
Both front and rear sight are in amazing shape (3 total range trips). And beside the rub light marks under neath the site, they would pass as new in packaging. The sites both come in their original packaging and I am sure you will be happy with them!
The 10-8 rear was bought from Brownells
The Dawson F/O front sight was bought directly from Dawson. The Dawson front comes with the full red and yellow replacement strands (untouched) and it still has the original red optic in it (it is mint and no need to change at this point).
**Neither of the sights required any fitting for my firearm so there has not been anything taken off the base of these sights!**
