SOLD
I have a take off CMMG Revolution Hand guard.
Very narrow and very light weight.
I want to be very up front about it.
The hand guard is in excellent shape.
The barrel nut takes a proprietary wrench that is not available for purchase.
I used duct tape around the barrel nut, then a pipe wrench to take it off.
It scored the barrel nut.
I did reinstall the nut on a barrel to make sure it still worked, and it did.
If I had to do it again, I would use a heavy duty strap wrench or at least, rubber around the barrel nut so the pipe wrench wouldn't dig into the nut.
I would recommend this for a .22 AR build as the barrel nut doesn't need to be torqued down excessively. A strap wrench would provide sufficient torque.
This hand guard with the rail sections list at $149.95
I'll sell it as is for $75 shipped.
