This scope is the same scope as the USMC Scout Sniper Day Scope. THE ONE AND ONLY DIFFRENCE is the MARKINGS. This scope in undamaged. Has 3 pin head size handling marks on the windage knob that are superficial and do not show up in the pictures.
I have owned and sold several of these scopes as well as M8541's and there is ABSOLUTELY no difference in the scopes other than the markings. Mechanically the scopes are identical.
This scope has the PREMIER RET. which is no longer available for commercial sales. That is why the price is $3500. This scope cannot be purchaced with this ret. anymore. Here is a less expensive option for topping your M40A3 or M40A5.
The last M8541 sold for $6200 on gun broker a few months back. $6200!
