The USMC Embedded Marksman rifle or Army Squad designated Marksman rifle is designed to be an accurized version of the M16/AR15 platform. One Marine Sniper per rifle squad is issued one of these and it is this Marine who ends up making the most kills while others provide suppressive or harassing fire. The rifle is designed to be a light weight highly accurate rifle that blends in with the the other rifles in the squad thus not making the sniper an identifiable priority target.

I had this upper custom built by White Oak Armament. Only fired 250 rounds through it. I'm getting 1/2 MOA at 100 yards, this thing is a tack driver and much lighter than it looks. ***Pictures below Girls and lower receiver not included***
Specs:
-20" threaded, bead blasted, stainless steel SS Match Grade barrel Wylde chambered for either 223 or 556 with a 1:7 twist
-Barrel is contoured, Bull barrel under the handguards, HBar from handguard forward (increased accuracy without a sniper profile)
-Barrel is also fluted under the handguards (This keeps it light without loss of accuracy)
-M4 feed ramps
-Wilson Blank upper reciever
-13" Larue tactical lightweight, T-spamped free-float handguards
-Ops Inc muzzle break (all but eliminates barrel rise)
-Low Profile gas block
-standard bolt carrier group
-Tac Latch charging handle
I love this rifle and don't want to sell it but I can really use the money right now. Paid over $1300 for this rifle upper selling it for $950 plus shipping.
