ERdept, the recoil reducer comes stock on the 391 Teknys Sport. There is a recess bored into the stock to accommodate the device (on my gun). I'm thinking it may be possible that it came on other 391's. Some say mercury attenuates the recoil, but the fact is more weight reduces recoil, period. My Tekny's is a dog, you can handle it and maybe decide if you want that reducer installed. 391's an great gun.
