Vortex VHS-4317 Overview
The 6-24x50 Viper HS Riflescope from Vortex combines a weather-sealed housing, extra-low dispersion (XD) glass elements, and a second plane is a zoom scope specifically designed for intermediate to long-range hunting. This Viper HS scope features a V-Plex reticle, a general purpose pattern that has four medium-weight posts tapering to a crosshair. Vortex's XD glass provides enhanced color fidelity and light transmission; the elements are fully multicoated with a proprietary XR optical coating that enhances image contrast and clarity.
The machined aluminum housing is finished with a scratch-resistant hard coat and filled with argon gas for fogproof and waterproof performance. Machined locking rings help the lens system maintain proper alignment and reduce the effect of weapon recoil. ArmorTek lens coating protects exposed objective and ocular lens surfaces from scratching and prevents dirt from adhering to the lens. In addition to the high-transmission optics and durable construction of the Viper HS, this scope has a dedicated side focus parallax adjustment turret, highly visible fiber optic magnification indicator, and removable 4" sun shade to reduce glare.
