Selling a Gen 2 ATN Patriot handheld monocular.
ATN Patriot Night Vision Monocular. Condition is Used. Comes with lens cap, small carrying pouch and new battery.
Power is from a single CR123 lithium battery.
Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Gen 2 night vision technology same as PVS-14 that utilizes an Image Intensifier Tube. This is not a PVS-14. This is also not a low cost video unit. This is a commercial version of the PVS-14 built on a commercial body. This is a handheld unit and comes with a custom and removable bracket for use with a standard J-ARM for helmet or skull cap use.
Very clear and bright tube. The intensifier tube itself is perfect. No blemishes. Low hours, bright and very clear intensifier tube. No defects on tube. It has mounting threads for a tripod.
Sample photos were taken in various situations. Outdoor pics were under a half moon covered by clouds using a cellphone. Moon and stars were not visible. I was very impressed with the ability of this Gen 2 unit to see detail in pitch dark. Soon as the moon peeks through, the image sharpens tremendously. Very very low light is where Gen 3 flexes over Gen 2. With a little moonlight, you can for miles.
NO HELMET OR J-ARM INCLUDED. Just the monocular and the bracket to attach to a milspec j-arm.
Great for hunting, stargazing and nights ops.
