    WTS-- COLT 1968 AR Upper 20"

    Very clean Vietnam era Colt 68' 20 inch upper Stamped MP chrome bore, comes with both original handguard and new style. No bolt or charging handle, Very clean condition. $475 open to trades also

              Are you sure this is a 1968? A friend of mine has an original Colt SP1 (RAW, of course ) manufactured in 1969, and it does not have a forward assist. It also has the large front pin that came on all SP1's. Is yours a large or small front take-down pin?

                    Looks like an M16A1 that's been re-finished.

                    Does it have "large holes" or "small holes"?

                            I had a 1975, and a 1982, NO forward assist. I upgraded in 1989 to a H-BAR with forward assist.
