Selling my M16A1 Clone upper, not 100% perfectly historically accurate, but it's a shooter and it's pretty close. Brass deflector is the only thing not "correct".
Specs:
20" DPMS
1-9 twist rate
Non-F marked FSB
.625 rifle gas port
M16A1 birdcage FH
Colt rear drop forward assist
Mil-spec charging handle
The upper was Cerakoted black by the original builder, I polished some of the high spots to give it that BFPU look, and I think it looks great. Nice chance for a retro upper for a fair price, good shooter for someone that wants an A1 clone but doesn't want to break the bank, or worry about scratching up an original.
I've fired 300 55gr brass through it & I've always kept it meticulously clean with FireClean and the action is SLICK.
Only the upper is for sale. No lower, or lower parts.
Asking $400 cash. Face to face, locally between Whittier and Chino.
