Joe325222@gmail.com is a scam. Got the same email as a user above. Luckily, boa is pretty good at catching frauds they denied the transfer. He said he had a steiner cqbl-1 for sale. This guy's calguns is : icejessica959

Then his buddy emails me ask if I was still looking for one.

Everyone: when a seller contacts you, look in their profiles. Missing tabs, or minimal info regarding "about me", etc., are good sign of a scammer.

At least report him with the orange triangle, possibly you can save someone else from getting burned.

I used to report (triangle) for other user's troubles. With "It's a Scam." Don't know if it did anything, if it did, would like to know so I will/can continue to do it for users that doesn't.

I think a Mod has to review it, they may contact you by PM.

It does take a bit of time for the mods to catch up with all of the reports but they do ban the person if the scam is clear.
Many keep coming back with a new name but it certainly slows them down.

I think Venmo has a separate "protected purchase" you can use. Like paypal. Either to send as gift etc, or as a protected purchase.
