I believe the story behind that one went something like this: One of the government agencies (not sure which one) ordered several hundred units of that, custom painted to their specs. It was actually more of a dull golden/brass color than a Dark Earth. It also had a custom modification where the tritium tube on the top was shortened and a fixed front sight post was added to the top of the metal tube itself as you can see in the picture.
For whatever reason, the agency refused to take delivery of the order and Trijicon got stuck with a whole bunch of these "unofficial" Trijicon scopes that were never in any catalogs or price lists. They didn't want to spend money or resources to advertise what was essentially a one-time run of a product so they offered them to anyone who would take them at large discounts, just to get rid of them.
Lots of retailers and distributors bought them up and moved them. Last time we saw any was around 4 months back and I think that's when they finally ran out everywhere. Anyways, I think that's the story that was being passed around by everyone on those TA31HG-DE's.
The reticle on that is a green horseshoe for the .223, same reticle that is on the regular TA31H-G. You can buy just a black one, and give it the camo job that you want, and you wont have to deal with the shortened tritium tube or the fixed post on top of the tube either. We have them in stock and ready to go.

Red-Dot-Scopes, we appreciate teh smoking deals, keep em comin. I'm still debating whether or not I can make the purchase on plastic, but damn, Trijicon glass is well worth the cost.

Impatient not hardly but if a co is so busy it cant take your money how would their service be if there was a issue with the product or needed warranty service ?
i dont know anything about them other than them replying here. From your guys posts about the world dont revolve around me , i guess you have bought high end optics from them before and have experience with them , sorry i have not.Comment
