    *Before the pandemic, Turner's was selling P238s for $499.98.

    Oak tree gun club has it for 650 for anyone in the LA area looking at getting one of these

          I feel they are able to sell at these prices because new shooters go to them and don't know what "market value" for these items are.

              Bingo! Exactly this.

              Uneducated, uninformed buyers IS what makes Turner's thrive - especially during frenzies, crises. I had $1300 in gift cards that I received and was 'forced' (read sarcasm) to use them. Ended up going in and purchasing a couple of guns and in the 4+hrs I spent there I had a lot of time to people-watch. I observed two things that really stood out to me;

              1- SCARY are some of the people who are purchasing guns. Be it their first time, or they already own. We all weren't born (assuming most on this site practice safe handling) with safety in mind, but to a certain degree we definitely had common sense handling for the first time. This MAY have just been this specific turners...

              2 - People looking to purchase do not realize there are other gun shops, smiths, pawn, etc that sell. And therefore they patronize Turner's to their detriment.

                A couple months ago I was at Rifle supply in Hungtington Beach and this lady (clearly first time buyer) couldn't even demonstrate how to de-chamber a round. Scary stuff indeed.

Thank you for helping me improve my experience and direct my attention towards those who are worthy of it. God bless your toxic little souls.

                        Ammo bros and Sportsman outdoes Turners. I think ammo bros is 1 step above Turners.

                          Riflegear has better every day prices than these "deals".

                          Thanks for the heads up though, always good to compare prices between retailers.
