The week of 4/12 as an example Walgreen's had Colgate for $2.99.
When you bought 2 you got back points equal to $4.
Sunday paper had a $1 coupon and the store had a digital coupon for $1.
You payout $4 and get back $4 to spend later.
Cost ends up being your sales tax.

A lot of legit stores offer Crest or Colgate on sale for $1 from time to time. It's usually made in Mexico. I'll stick with the Made in USA stuff.

Your local drug store sells a lot of chinese crap also. Look at the boxes next time you go in. I saw this with band aids a while back. This really snuck up on most of us.

I'm pretty sure that if the $.99 cent store, which is a huge company, got caught selling counterfeit tooth paste, or any other brand name item, it would be a huge story. Yes, they sell a lot of crap. That's why we go there.
