              Anyone that has a serious use for it. Some reason you'd want it dimmer? I use an 1800 lumen flashlight pretty regularly to check for raccoons or possums in my backyard. 1000 lumens really isn't that much these days.

                      Especially since this is a "maxvision" head, it's all flood. 1000 lumens won't be as much as you think unless you are in a very small confined room. Not much throw.
