9mm Hi Point $72 bargain (Maybe. Do your research, California!)

OK, the Hi Point is everyone's favorite red-headed step child, but what if you can have one for two figures?

    LINK

Caveat for the non Roster exempt: The CA Handgun Roster lists a "C9 UPC#752334091604 / Polymer, Zinc Alloy, Chrome Moly" as an approved model. Do your research to check that the model on sale, Model 916, is indeed the one on the Roster.

This may be a representative pic of the gun, but it's the .380 version. Ugly, huh?

Now, Cabela's page does not show a pic of the 9mm model by itself, just one in a holster.

Sooooo... Use your GC(s) and Swagbucks and snag it for under $72.

DISCLAIMER: savings based on 12% discounted GCs that are currently available for instant delivery, e.g. GiftCardZen or Raise, excluding delayed delivery companies like SVM, or currently unavailable cards such as BJ's. If you have those, your savings can be much greater. Cabela's sale prices are limited to certain sale period, you check it yourself, and stocks are limited. No backorders allowed. No guarantees the pistol model listed in the sale is California compliant. No guarantees your buddies will not laugh at you when you show up with this gun at the range. The management reserves the right to change their mind at anytime without prior notification. If they decide your breath stinks or sound too Californian, they may refuse to allow you to purchase it even on the internet. Your mileage may vary, just be nice to the gun counter guys when you call, they're my buddies. No, I am beyond buying a Hi-Point myself and my actions or opinions do not represent those of the management of Cabela's or Bass Pro.)

Maybe. In the past, Cabela's would send CA compliant guns to a local CA FFL for the transfer. But last time I checked that policy was some two years ago. You'd have to call the manager at the gun counter to arrange this.

Or just send it back to the manufacture and they'll send you a new one.

I must say I have one and it is a gateway gun. Now I've become an ammo and gun junkie because of it.

                  HA!
reloading is like building tiny rocket ships. and testing how well they fly (or dont).

With shipping and FFL transfer fees, it's not going to be a deal. Yea, they are ugly, in fact, almost as ugly as a Glock but, they work. Mine are reliable and accurate and, I enjoy shooting them more than shooting my Glocks.
