does anyone recall if 5.99 is the lowest we've seen 223/556 @ Cabelas ..(even factoring in the 10%)
Not too far back the Herter's (S&B) 55 grain brass case/FMJ would go on sale for $4.99 regularly. We are headed back there where that can happen IMHO. Now with GC and AJ, etc... that will be a buy again under $4 a box.

They are competitive on a lot of sales.

$349 Trijicon RMR 06's, .27 per round 5.56, Win White box bulk pack hand gun ammo, sub-$10 per box 9mm, $299 Vortex Viper scopes, etc... come to mind.

Put your gift cards and AJ plus Cabela's 10% off plus free shipping on some sale priced stuff and maybe throw in some Cabela's rewards and see what happens. Sometimes $7 a box .45 acp happens or maybe $244 RMR's

Yeah, but will we be seeing those kind of prices before 12/31/2017?

If not, we in Kalifornia don't get to legally participate in the low internet bulk prices.

If California ammo prices ever come down after January 1, 2018, I suspect it will be a long time.

Maybe. Right after CA is hosed for online sales though, the prices will start averaging down to $3 a box for everyone else
