For those that asked about quality, not being an expert or anything, but they seem well built and I have had no issues to date other than they run rather large. See my dilemma and fix below.

    I've been looking at these.
Any advice on how to size them?
Sizes true to chart? With gear?
Thx. Btw. My waist is 48". See my dilemma?? (Besides being big)
Well, I wanted a large as I'm a 42" waist, all they had was XL. Let's just say this thing wraps around me and then some.

I ended up cutting off 6" of the inner belt and still have to have the outter belt tailored.

I think you'll be good with the XL belt.

Do you think the size large for a 41" waist would be a bit is a stretch - no pun intended?

You should be GTG. If it's too long, I'll give ya 10 bucks for it

Will the large work for a 30" waist?

Sure, if you don't mind it wrapping around your waist 1.5 - 2 times

If you're looking to save money and buy the large because it's cheap, go for it.

Keep in mind you can cut the inner belt down yourself and use a lighter or stove to "singe" the ends where you cut it so that they won't unravel.

The outer belt will have to be sewn up by a seamstress or cobbler (shoe repairman) with a strong sewing machine as they'll have to sew through the belt with the support piece and re-position the hook & loop (velcro) fastener.

                Good luck

It is at $14 tonight. The Large really fits true to size. It will be huge for a 30" waist.
