Portable "Indoor Safe" propane heater

If you're running a propane heater all night camping in California, you either need better sleeping bags or a hotter woman! That said, the slightly more expensive unit you linked to is great to kick on for a 1/2 hour or so to make a cold tent & sleeping bags warm & cozy before retiring for the night and again in the morning before crawling out to get the campfire & coffee going!

Well, winter camping in the Mohave can get down into the teens....cold enough that I bought one! hahaha

Spend $40 more and get the biggun straight off!
Double the BTU, double the sq. footage!

And THIS is the one I did buy....but to be honest...it's too much for a tent....pretty much keeps my 6 person tent with two people baking. If I had it to do over I'd get the middle one.

i have the big buddy heater and use it in my 10 person coleman tent! i love this thing!!! makes tent camping comfy!!!

i've camped lots of times in the Sierras where the temperatures were below 0 degrees at night. Winter of course. Way below!

Isn't the heat output adjustable on the big one? Because I have a huge 12 person tent. I want to keep it warm during my Lone Pine winter camps (eastern sierras get cold in winter).

Yes, it is adjustable....but at it's lowest setting we had to keep it well ventilated as it is slightly "too much" for my tent...

It could easily heat my living room. (and has....when I first tried it)

Hook em up to a BBQ tank and you're good to go. Nothing like crawling into a cozy warm tent when it's in the teens or twenties outside...
