The Elcan Spectre 1-4X sight provides all the benefits of a red dot sight and a mangnified sight in a single, complete package. A positive locking lever on the sight allows for users to instantaneously switch from 1X magnification to 4X magnification.
The Elcan Spectre comes with a 7.62 bullet drop compensator reticle, allowing even novice shooters to easily engage targets at extreme range! The 7.62 BDC also matches 5.56 caliber projectiles in 77 gr (found in the Mk262 for example) very closely! This optic would be great on 7.62 carbines or 5.56 carbines with precision/heavy projectiles alike!
Variants of this sight have been used by the Canadian Armed Forces and United States Special Forces for years, as the sight's optical clarity and flexibility make it an invaluable tool on the battlefield.
The sight has optional illumination, illuminating the cross hair/bullet drop reticle, or the 1.5/6 MOA red dot (depending on magnification)
All Elcan scopes are tested at the factory prior to shipping. As a result, the mount may show use marks. These scopes are NEW despite some markings that may indicate otherwise.
