I went to test out my newly arrived LMT MWS at On Target today. (Yes, the gun is everything they say it is) After getting it sighted in I shot a bit of 22lr and than headed for the exit as I was getting hungry.
However, before I left I stopped to talk with the Men on Duty (MOD's) and after a while I noticed a big hunking pile of black tackle boxes in the middle of the floor...I I mean a BIG pile of boxes...one pallet full but five feet tall.
On top of the pile was a very puny sign that said Federal mil spec 5.56 $329/1000 rounds. C'mon Gregg...get a bigger sign up! I would have been very pssied had I missed that deal!!
Surely it had to be magnetic at that price. James had to grab a magnet and show me it wasn't, and it wasn't!!
Heck yes, I bought a box of it. I love the ammo can too, its huge!! And it has a small secondary compartment you could stash a cleaning rod kit in, or some tools, a twinkie...maybe some of those small liquor bottles from southwest airlines...whatever you need to make that drive from the Burro windy road when grandma or worse is in front of you.
You gotta love ammo at that price in your own back door.
