Yugoslavian 60mm Mortar Set, M57, Matching, *Very Good*

Original Yugoslavian M57 mortar set, 60mm, includes matching numbered tube, base plate and bipod legs, USED in *Good* condition. Sold as a set.These are mortars with a history as they saw service in the Balkans.These 60mm mortars have had the tubes demilled by cutting 2 holes (with a special hole cutter blade), one in the cup and the other in the tube (cut sections included in tube).There is also a rod welded across the inside of the tube and the firing pin is removed and that opening filled in.Set comes with the tube, bipod legs, and base plate, all with matching serial numbers.Charge data plate may not be present or can have the markings marred, leather bipod binding strap may be missing or incomplete.Sling retaining bar will be missing and the base plate may show some dents and other signs of heavy service use.Used in *very Good* condition, these sets will be dirty, and will show wear to the Yugo issue light green paint.These mortars are a near copy of the American US M2 60mm mortar that was widely issued to the Army & Marines in all theatres during WWII.The mortar is designed to mount the NSB-1 or NSB-3 optical sight and can be transported assembled with the use of the leather muzzle cover and strap (All sold separately). Don't forget to add the accessories of your choice!Mortar SIGHT is NOT INCLUDED!
