    80% AR15 Lower CNC file?

I have access to a CNC machine finally and have the jig. What file is being used for CNCing the FCG on the 80% lowers?

    Any help would be great!!

What machine, and what sort of software are you used to using? I have a file that I wrote up on MasterCAM 5 for machining the FCG pocket, although it would need slight modification of tool selection as I only had access to 3/8 and 1/4 EMs.

My question is, why did you wait almost two years from creating your profile to posting?

Its an Arrow 500 (about 8-9 yrs old). As for software, I will find out tomorrow what he has on the mill as for me I just use freeMILL for now. I was planning on using 3/8 since that's what I have for my manual mill (I am a novice to say the least but got a killer deal on the vertical mill and a separate lathe). My buddy is giving me access to his CNC mill and advice on setting it up so I figured I could learn some CNC skills and finish an 80% at the same time :-)

As for not posting... While I registered that long ago I had been working alot out of state but am now working near home so I have been reading, reading, reading as much as I can this last 6-8 months to learn as much as I can without posting duplicate questions. That and I finally am in a financial position to plunge headlong into the firearms market. :-)

Any help on the file would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks....

No worries, just don't see it every day. shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll send you the file. Won't be till Tomorrow or Monday though, don't have access to the software tonight and want to make sure of where I placed the zero for the X axis.

Are you looking for a CAD file or the G-code? Cncguns.com has the cad file. As for G-code, I highly recommend you write your own. If your buddy has a cnc he should be able to generate the code. Somewhere on here I posted the code for a fadal but do you really trust a random person on the Internet to not crash your mill?

          Found it
