I have an Italian Titan 32 auto that has a fixed front sight that's too low by .15". At some time its had its slide replaced and the replacement is a little taller in the rear. I'm thinking of soldering a piece of thin sheet metal to both sides of the front sight, filling the center with solder and then filing to shape and size. what I don't want is for it to look like some one just glued a piece on top of the sight blade. one other possibility is to fill the middle with a fire sight pin. Has anyone else tried this? DR

The only way Id make that work is mill the sight into the slide. Or maybe mill off the front and solder on a new sight base. DR
