Suggestion For Degreaser

Can anyone tell me what I can use for clean/degreasing sights? I bought a touch up pen (beachwood casey) flat black. Some of the sights have worn to a slight shine. Looking at house cleaning products?

A bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab ought to do the trick. Carb cleaner is good if you have some around. Acetone nail polish remover works too.

Just don't tell the wife you're using her nail polish remover on your gun.

This may sound off the wall, but one of the best cleaners/ degreasers I have ever found is......wait for it....Scrubbing bubble toilet cleaner. Tried it by accident at work and the crap works without harming any finishes.
