Old Marlin 60 Feeding Issues (posted in rimfire section)

I flipped a coin and placed this in the Rimfire Firearms section.

I think it is caused by the old style split feed throat separating over time.

If you have any input, please check it out and comment.

Check the buffer it is a square most the time it's white plastic sometimes it's black plastic it's at the rear part of the mechanism sandwich between the two side plates they are known to break over time you can find a new one at Brownells if that is the problem.
Usually it breaks around one of the holes going through the side of it

You could try alternately using hotter .22 lr ammo...
