Dear Calguns Members,
Come train with us on SATURDAY, July 30, 2011 @ 9:00am at Angeles Shooting Ranges located at 12651 Little Tujunga Canyon, Eagles Nest "C" Lake View Terrace, CA 91342.
The cost of the class is $125.00. For those who do not have a handgun, said pricing includes handgun, holster, magazines and magazine pouch rental (ammunition cost is extra and not included).

WE ARE GOING TO SPLIT UP THE CLASS DEPENDING ON SKILL LEVEL (which will be ascertained via telephone conversation and demonstrated skill level prior to start of class) AND THE FOLLOWING CLASSES WILL BE TAUGHT:
The following will be covered in HANDGUN 1 on Saturday, July 30th:
-SAFE GUN HANDLING
-Grip/Stance/Sights/Trigger
-Marksmanship
-Holster presentations & holstering - presenting your weapon safely
-Controlled pairs - fast and more accurate follow-up shots using trigger reset
-Shooting from the "ready position" (the most used combat position)
-Shooting on the move
-Multiple targets
-Lectures - situational awareness, ballistics, incapacitation, failure to stop
-Tactical and emergency reloads
-Post engagement after-actions
-Assault Course
The following will be covered in SKILL BUILDER on Saturday, July 30th:
-High speed holster presentations against single and multiple targets
-Fighting stances - standard, rear, support side and firing side engagements
-Multiple targets engagements in move-and-shoot scenarios
-Close-contact engagements incorporating movement
-Intermediate engagements incorporating movement
-Failure to stop drills
-Speed, emergency, and tactical reloads
-After-engagement, immediate-actions drills
-Type 1, 2 & 3 malfunction clearance
-Assault Course incorporating the above skills
WE WILL ALSO INCORPORATE AN INTRODUCTION TO VEHICLE OPERATIONS:
Course Requirements:
Clients should have eye and ear protection (we'll provide ear protection if you don't have any). A good holster (preferably kydex), sturdy belt and magazine carrier (with belt loops). A semiautomatic handgun (9mm or higher caliber). At least 3 magazines. A hat and sun screen. Cargo pants are recommended. A small bag to carry your equipment. Clothing for seasonal weather. Adequate water and snack/lunch. At least 300 rounds of factory ammunition for Handgun 1 and 500 rounds for Skill Builder.
