    Rob Pincus' Combat Focus Shooting

I completed the 2 day Combat Focus Shooting training 7-24 at Burro Canyon. I was extremely fortunate to receive one on one training with CFS Certified Lead Instructor Omari Broussard. A solid guy, with solid credentials. Omari is an exceptional communicator with a keen eye for subtle details. Certainly a great help in performing and repeating the actions exactly as designed. I found the class to be an incredibly eye opening experience.

You can watch Rob's informative CFS videos, read the well written CFS book, but it all comes together on the range. The drills are masterful in concept, design and motion.

As a California CCW instructor, I look at the CFS program as the Masters Degree in concealed carry methodology. A must for any CCW holder that wants to learn the fine art of surviving a dynamic critical incident.

Overall, Combat Focus Shooting is well worth the time, effort, travel and money. Thanks to Omari and Rob for providing such worthwhile and significant instruction.

I look forward to continuing my CFS education.

Awesome. Sounds like you had a great time.

I had the opportunity to train Combat Focus Shooting with Omari here in San Diego. Omari and the CFS brings pistol handling back to what it was designed to do:

    fight.

As an EP Agent and a 20+year martial arts veteran, I very much appreciate how they define the context of what happens physiologically in that first 2 seconds of drawing your weapon.

IMO, CFS is the most practical, logical, and well designed training paradigms for defensive shooting, and Omari is one of the most experienced guys to teach it.

Sounds like it was good class. I may look into one of these classes for the CFS system.
