    CDP or ESP?

Which of the two would most shooters enjoy? What would be more satifying to shoot?
Am stuck in the middle between the two, also consider the cost of reloading between the two. I was thinking more in line with 40sw and the 45ACP.

What are the guns in question? That would influence my decision greatly.

Shoot ESP if cost is a question. If you are a 1911 guy, you can even shoot a 1911 in .40S&W or 9mm.

CDP is the way to go if a .45acp is what you want to use, but ESP gives you more gun options (you can use anything 9mm or larger) and offers the ability to shoot something that is less expensive to reload.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Get an XD 45, you can shoot in both divisions. Down load the 45 in ESP to minor, shoot major in CDP. I actually like ESP better, as Gryff said, more gun options, load the mags to 10, higher level of competition. Times are lower in ESP to make classifications.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

That easy. ESP on the 3rd sunday and CDP on the 1st sunday. 4th saturday is SSP ESR ESP or CDP whatever I feel like. I just need to find a club on the 2nd week and all will be fine.
