When you bump certain ones but not others you introduce a variable into the mix in that not all the cases are the same. You will see an increase in ES and possibly POI.

Nope, you are making them all the same. What you are saying is that if you size one case by 2 mils and another by 1.5 mils, you introduce a variable. Not if the first case was 0.5 mils longer than the second.

What do you think is happening when you use a FL die to bump the shoulder? Do you think only the shoulder gets bumped? Have you ever measured a case in your life?
