I'm trying to get to the point where I can sell reloads to friends legally, does anybody have any advise for dealing with organizations like ITAR? It's getting to be a lot more work than I wanted to do, so I'm down but certainly not out.

Well, ok. But you'll need a lawyer. if you plan on doing it out of your home, you can just scratch your homeowner's insurance. You'll have to deal with not only with the BATF and CADOJ, but many other regulating bodies. Certainly your local zoning/planning office, the EPA, County Environmental Health (hazardous materials), fire agencies, and my personal favorite, CalOSHA. Willful violations start at 18k.
You'll need a Federal Class 6 FFL, state business license, local permits, be subject to multi-agency inspections and buckets of insurance.
You'll have to do all this to legally sell to friends. I wouldn't do it, but good luck.Last edited by uhlan1; 10-10-2013, 8:14 PM."Hence it happened that all the armed prophets conquered, all the unarmed perished." - Niccolo MachiavelliComment
