Hi all,
I have been using an old Redding powder drop for years and had great results. I bought at turret press and the old Redding would not mount. I purchased a used Hornady powder drop. Looks in good shape. It has both the large & small pistons. The problem is that one out of say 25 rds is short on powder. I am operating the drop by hand and am careful. I weight about every 5th load and the measurement always comes out within less than 0.1gr.
Is the any known problems with the older Hornady powder drops?
I am using Blue Dot and PB powders.
Any suggestions?
