    .223 Help for Noob

Hey guys... I was able to score some bad ammo from a factory remanufacturer the other day... They were completed rounds and labeled "bad"....

I pulled the projectiles (.223 55g FMJs) tossed the powder and now have live primed cases...

The cases vary in size (some need to be trimmed... some are below min specs ect) I took a few rounds after taking them apart and went pew pew to pop off the primers and they were jamming the bolt closed on my scary black rifle...

Any thoughts as to why they would lock the bolt closed and not eject when pulling back the charging handle??

What would you guys do with these live primed cases??

Either bad headspacing (shoulder too high), the body is too wide near the case head, or both.

Why were they labeled as bad? Perhaps they were not sized properly?

Resize F/L or small base check case length, use your primers ,powder their bullets.

Could also be the primer is setting back when you pop it jamming the bolt.

Try chambering a round and open the bolt without popping the primer. If it opens easy then its the primer if its still hard then the case needs to be full length sized.
