Do these 308 Win look OK

Do these 308 primer look OK. Is there any indication that these load were hot? 168SMK with 44 grains of Varget at 2708fps.

Those primers look ok. The primer shoulders are still rounded. You'll see the edges a bit flattened with hot load over pressure. The crater you see could be caused by the firing pin. Here's a link that talks and shows pics of .308 with good explanations.

It looks like your firing pin hole is a bit on the big side.

Look got to me "but" mixing brass manufacures especially .308Win brass with 7.62 brass wont give you optimum accuracy when loaded the same and all fired at the same time. Pick a brand and stick with it. Just thought id throw that out there....

My biggest concern is the mixed headstamps.
Are you actually loading matchkings in mixed brass and NOT sorting them by headstamp?

Yes I am. And they were very accurate up to 615 yards. I was able to hit a 1 square foot target metal gone almost every time. 9 out of 10 times. Maybe if I sort them out I'll hit them 10 out of 10 times

Not everyone is anal at matching head stamps. Some guns just shoot and some dont. Fact of life.

The reason I asked is the primers look to have a gritty or rough look like the bolt face is rough or textured in a light sand blast. Could you post a pic of the bolt face.

                          Your target is too big.
                          That's about a 2moa target.
Now try with a 1 moa target and see how many you keep on it at 615yds...

They all look rough like that, and have oversized chamfers...

                              True.
Not everyone is trying to be precise either.
I see that is the case here so the mixed headstamps certainly won't matter when 2moa precision is the goal.
I mistook a precision rifle owner for a precision rifle shooter.
Carry on, nothing to see here...

Here is a nice 600yd group:

That's 0.16 moa under a short time limit, bipod and a rear bag, laying in the gravel.
