It appears to be Winchester related.

I've had trouble with Winchester large pistol years ago. 2012ish.

I recall another forum mentioning primer edge burn-through on Winchester small rifle primers; 2 instances, one several years ago, the other within the last few months (though I don't know about manufacturing dates for those.)

So apparently it's an on-going thing.

Could you have posted this wth any LESS info?!?

          Primer brand maybe?

Primer details? Large or small rifle??
          Large or small pistol??

Maybe asking too much, but LOT # maybe???

          WTF?
DOOOOD, I posted the info I had. If I had more info I would have posted it. No need to be a jerk. This aint my first rodeo. Usually, you start with a small fact or rumor and try to gather more info. That's what I was doing. If you don't have any info, then don't reply. The forum rules require you to be respectful and your post was not.

Do better. Maybe live by: "Better to let them think you are fool than open your mouth and prove it."

And if you took a moment to read down the forum before you posted, the answer presented itself.

And, if I had all that info, I would not have asked the question....jeez
