I've been getting frustrated trying to find PH trimmers in .223 and .308 for a while now, so last night I put my google-fu to the test to try and locate some. Possum Hollow's website is down, so unfortunately I couldn't just go off their list of distributors. All the large places like Midway are out of stock, have been for a while, and don't anticipate having any for about a month. So I emailed some of the smaller places that don't have inventory or stock status listed and here's what I found...
First is from Gunstop Reloading Supplies Inc. with a lot of good info, and an interesting work around for the time being.
He also told me in a follow up email this afternoon when I ordered my .308 trimmer that he had received an email this morning that the bodies are shipping out today, which means it won't take to long to get a .223 trimmer from them.
The second response came from Marsha at Russ Haydon's Shooters' Supply up in WA.
Since they had the .308 in stock, and were nice enough to answer my email quickly, I ordered my other trimmer from them. So, if you've been searching for these trimmers like I have, or are on the fence about getting some...here's your chance!

Let me fill you in....first our web site does not show real time inventory.
Next, the problem lies with Possum Hollow and their supplier of carbide
cutters. Carbide has been tough to get so hence Possum Hollow has not been
getting enough cutters from their supplier to keep up with demand. They
are so back ordered and such that who know if they will see day light any
time soon. He has 200 cutters coming within days, but he only has 200
cutters to spread amongst the various resellers such as Midway, others,
and us. The last time we only got 20 Kwick Trimmers, when he had a batch
of cutters...
So, here is what we are doing. We are out of 223, 308, and 300 Whisper.
We have them sending us bodies for those calibers, and we are going to rob
the cutters from other Kwick Trimmers (we have in stock) to make those
three Kwick Trimmers. If you want a those two calibers you place your
order online.
And, you will assured of getting those two trimmers as soon as we get the
bodies to mate with our cutters.
