Dillon works very good IME, but I also have a PACT that has not given me any problems in over 6 years of use.

I hear less issues from Dillon digital users than from PACT users. The D-Terminator is well worth it IMHO and costs less than the PACT. The PACT will however, connect with their power trickler to do automated charge trickling which is what I like and use the PACT for.

Whichever digital you get, make sure you also own a basic beam balance AND a set of check weights to verify the digital and the beam are actually delivering what they say they are. Having more than one type of scale is mandatory IMHO and at least one must NOT be a digital.

Dillon lists a set of check weights from RCBS at their scale page. The Std ones are all you need.

My Pact scale and power trickler has worked flawlessly for last 5-6 years. I agree with GeoffLinder, get a balance beam scale as well. Best value out there is Dillon Balance Beam scale; about $54. MUCH CHEAPER THAT RCBS.

I have a Dillon digital and love it. Always within +-.1 gr. I also have a RCBS 505 that I have used for 20 + years.

Too many issues with electrics, go with a beam like a 10-10 and fuggetabodit.

My PACT is about 10 years old, nothing but issues like 'no flourescent lighting, no cell or wireless phones, dedicated power (not dirty power), warm up time'. Called the factory, no help at all....zippo!
Had I not spent so much money on it, I'd have bashed it on the concrete long ago. It simply sits on my loading bench pissing me off every time I look at it. Rarely use it for loading as I don't trust it. You gotta trust your scale!
          I use a beam exclusively.
