(Cheap) Corn Cob Source

What's funny is when you place an order with Drillspot, your local Grainger will call to arrange the delivery.

My order came via UPS and now that I think about it, it actually was delivered the day after I ordered it. I remember saying to my wife, "how can anyone make any money delivering 40 lb of anything overnight via UPS". It also looks like drillspot raised the price since I ordered it a few wks ago for $21.

This is gonna blow your mind......I placed an order for the corn cob this morning at 9:39a (through Drillspot) and just got a call from the Grainger delivery guy saying he was on his way to drop it off.

Sarcasm? I have to ask because it doesn't translate well to the Internet. $25 for 40 lbs is pretty cheap to me. Since the corn cob from gunstores is usually $15 for 7 lbs. If you were being serious then ok. I had never heard of a graingers until I googled corn cob media. Sorry office job.

yeah, that was sarcasm. sorry, i should have used a smiley to denote that. i've found many things from grainger come with an inflated price tag. good to know they've got deals on at least a few things!

Good job CG'ers. I would not have thought of Graingers. I have bought a lot of electrical supplies from them - and they are the hands-down most expensive you can deal with.
