    12ga Hull resizer

Anyone use one of these? I`m finding that some of my reloads are not fitting anymore. I found this online. It has very good reviews. I just wanted to see if any of you have used one. They are a little pricey so just doing some research. Any info would be great.

The MEC Supersizer takes care of that automatically.

I have one. Fixes all your sizing problems. Mec Size Master and Mec Grabber have that built into the press.

what kind of press do you use? I've seen replacement dies for spolar and PW that resize the hulls more -- would save an extra step in your process.

The Mec Supersizer uses the same finger collet method as on the Mec9000 and that works great at sizing my loads. You must make sure the shell drops all the way down into the fingers before pressing down on the sizer otherwise you'll end up with a ballooned base. You can otherwise use a Lee Load-All, Lee "whack-a-mole" hammer loader, or pick up a cheap used Mec 600 Jr to use the ring style sizer.

I had some Winchester Super-X factory loads that had fat bases and resized them with my Mec 9000 by removing the deprimer from the loader and ran them through station 1 which is essentially the Super Sizer. Worked great.

Find a deal on a used sizemaster and get the resizer and speed up your reloading all in one.

Not fitting, or not feeding? Can you "plunk" them in the chamber?

I've never used the Lee but it says it has a Sizing Ring. The only time I ever had an issue feeding is when the taper/crimp adjustment were off when I replaced some parts on the MEC, they would chamber manually but they were bulging a bit at the crimp. Also, what hulls are they? If the bases are not sizing maybe they aren't good for reloading.

I would suggest using the money to upgrade your press that includes that function.

Something's not right. The Lee Load All 2 has a sizing ring which should size the hull base properly. Did you use a pair of calipers to measure your hulls that would not fit your gun? Also, when was the last time you cleaned the chamber of your gun. Sometimes soot builds up in the chamber to the point of not allowing shells to feed smoothly.

Just trying to save you money. It would be a shame to buy an expensive Size Master only to find out that it doesn't solve your problem.

Can we get some history on your Lee and process? Did you buy it used? How long have you had it? Did it come with the ring? Maybe they gave you a bad ring or a ring that's too big. What gauge?
