    Wondering about 25-35 and W760 (H414)

Going through the powder bunker, I found 3 pounds of W760 that I'd like to find a use for. I happen to have a 25-35 that is in need of ammo. I have brass and 117gr Hornady JRN bullets, and am looking for load data for this bullet using W760 (which is the same as H414, according to Hodgdon).

I see that W760 is a relatively slow powder, #134 on the Burn Rate chart, slower than the IMR3031 or H4895 that I would normally use (#98 and #109, respectively). So - at first glance I wouldn't be able to put enough of it in a 25-35 case to cause a pressure problem, but am left with the question of whether it is a suitable choice or not. Too slow? Unburned powder issue?

Anybody have experience, or pointers to load data/results?

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!
